Description
This tank is the first modification to the widely successful Sceptre MK II battle platform; the tank is refitted with a heavier cannon, and while it lacks the original rapid-fire plasma cannon, the power that was used for the so called "coaxial machine gun" is now entirely devoted to the main cannon. Recent advancements allow for even more improvements in armor, shielding, and engine power.
This removes the Sceptre's seemingly weak nature, as it tried to do too many things at once: a well rounded but outmatched tank in almost all aspects. The Sceptre Mk II Mod 1 HoverTank is the next in the line of these successful tanks, and with improved mobility, armor, and shields, the Thunder is an impressive foe to behold; a faster fire rate and increased damage as compared to the Sceptre MK II's main cannon makes it a contender even with the fierce Nexus MK III.
I changed the turret (to a massive degree) and modified the rear of the tank (though not visible here) to have a different appearance.
